Media Sales Director

Hylink, China’s largest digital communication agency have entered Europe 4 years ago, now have offices in London, Paris, Munich and Milan.  Through its close relationship with Sina and Tencent, Hylink was able to secure exclusive representation deal for Weibo and WeChat for all of the European markets (except for WeChat in Italy).

For this opportunity, we are seeking a senior level sales role dedicated to the sales of Weibo and WeChat advertising spaces.

Media Sales Director, Europe

Areas of Responsibilities:

• Dedicated to the media sales of Weibo and WeChat, fully responsible for growing new business for these two media in major markets in Europe covering all industry sectors, with revenue targets as performance measurement
• Fully autonomic, and represent Weibo and WeChat
• Identify new client leads, build relationships, obtain budgets and create proposals in collaboration with the account team
• Reach out to 4A agencies, and other agency partners to obtain dedicated budgets for these two media
• Coordinate with teams in different offices and Weibo and WeChat teams in the country
• Help the account team in proposal generation and campaign execution
• Assume the role of client Director for key accounts 

Candidate’s Requirements:

• Over 10 years of professional experience in premium media representation / media sales
• Proven track record in generating leads and bringing revenues
• Good relationship and experiences with 4A agencies that allows quickly to identify the decision makers and stake holders
• Working knowledge of the Chinese media landscape and consumer markets
• Strong proposal capabilities
• Fluent in English and Chinese, two other European languages would be a plus.
